A Picturesque Wedding with Acoustic ACCOMPANIMENT

Shannon was the bridesmaid in childhood friend's wedding, so I was thrilled when she contacted me about playing live music for her Austin summer wedding at The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center! She wanted a "laid back and up beat kind of wedding" with live music for her ceremony and cocktail hour. The venue was beautiful, with flowers in bloom in every direction. They exchanged vows in front of the center's fountain and it couldn't have been more picturesque. Following the ceremony, they hosted a cocktail hour in the Butterfly Garden. The garden was the perfect place for her guest to keep the party rolling and enjoy their drinks and each other. A little garden snake slithered over my foot while I was performing!
Shannon and JD put together an amazing day and hired an amazing team to make it possible. Everything was flawless. Shout out to Emily at Big Time Creative for keeping everything so organized and DJ Byrne Rock for DJing the reception! Big thanks to ZuZu's Petals for all the gorgeous blooms and Royal Fig Catering for the smell of delicious food all day! And of course, Jessica Roop Beauty & Boudoir, for making the wedding party look truly stunning.
